NHS Blood Pressure Checks in Mosborough
A blood pressure check is a simple way to understand more about your cardiovascular health.
Our trained pharmacy team will take your blood pressure in a private consultation area and discuss the result with you. If your reading indicates that further monitoring may be appropriate, you may be offered additional monitoring or advised to speak with your GP.
The NHS Community Pharmacy Hypertension Case-Finding Service is designed to help identify people who may have previously undiagnosed high blood pressure and support appropriate follow-up.
Who Can Have an NHS Blood Pressure Check?
You may be eligible for a free NHS blood pressure check if you:
- Are aged 40 or over
- Live in England
- Do not already have a diagnosis of high blood pressure
- Have not had your blood pressure checked by a healthcare professional within the last 5 years
Some people under 40 may also be eligible where there is an increased risk of developing high blood pressure.
